# Remove a word from a collection

> Remove a word without deleting it from your library.

Remove a word from a custom collection without deleting it from your library.

**1. Open the collection and choose Edit**

**2. Find the word in the selected-word list**

**3. Clear its selection**

**4. Save the collection. The word remains saved but is no longer in that collection.**
