Open Practice from the app navigation.

Choose a practice activity or Quick Play.

If prompted, choose the practice mode, word set, and session size.

Vocab Monster offers 12 modes, including quizzes, flashcards, fill-in-the-blank, memory match, context, synonym, antonym, spelling, and timed challenges.

Play through the activity and answer each prompt. Incorrect words can return later for another attempt.

Review your results when the session ends. Your progress and practice history are recorded for your account.

AI practice credits

You can use Vocab Monster without AI through the non-AI practice modes. AI-generated prompts use credits, and eligible screens may let you choose from available OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, or Kimi models.
